San Francisco (July 24, 2025) Google has rolled out a powerful new AI tool that lets shoppers virtually try on clothing using a full-body photo.

The feature is now live in the United States, integrated into Google Search, Shopping, and Images.

Users simply tap the “Try it on” icon on eligible products, upload their photo, and see how the clothing looks on them. They can also save or share the generated looks.

This upgrade goes beyond earlier versions that relied on static model images. Now, the AI adapts clothing to a user’s actual body shape for a personalized view. Supporting this, Google has also introduced customized price alerts that users can specify preferred size, color, and price criteria, and receive notifications when offers match.

Looking ahead, Google teased a fall launch of AI-generated style and room inspiration tools.

Powered by its massive Shopping Graph of over 50 billion products, the tools will allow users to visualize outfit sets or home décor ideas using generative imagery.

This launch represents Google’s continued investment in AI Mode for shopping, blending generative AI with real-time product data to reshape how people discover, preview, and purchase items online.
