The latest Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection update is now live across all platforms, bringing a mix of online features, gameplay fixes and presentation upgrades that affect both competitive play and single-player access. Version numbers vary by platform, including Xbox 1.0.0.4, Switch and Switch 2 1.0.5, PlayStation 4 1.0.0.6 and PlayStation 5 1.0.6.

One of the most important changes is the expansion of Online Arcade options. Players can now join private rooms through five-character Room Codes, while a new connection-strength filter gives users more control over room searches and match quality.

The patch also broadens gameplay support across classic releases. Versus AI and Fixed AI difficulty are now available for all Genesis, 32X and SNES versions, while move and combo lists have been refined for better accuracy, especially in UMK3 and MK Trilogy. The Mercy input now appears in the on-screen move list.

Additional fixes target Fatalities, Friendships, Babalities, Brutalities, training mode flow, PS1 widescreen display behavior and specific graphical issues in MK Trilogy. New extras include marble screen bezels, added character videos in Kombatants, stretch screen options on PC and a max gold koins setting for the Game Boy Advance version of Deadly Alliance.

More importantly, this Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection update signals a wider multiplayer roadmap. With Krossplay confirmed for the next release later in spring 2026, the current patch looks positioned to strengthen long-term online functionality rather than serve as routine maintenance alone.
