Eli Health unveiled an upgraded version of its Hormometer at CES 2026, expanding the at home testing device beyond cortisol to include testosterone and progesterone. With this update, the company aims to make hormone tracking faster and easier for everyday users.
The new Hormometer relies on a saliva based testing process. Users place a disposable test strip in their mouth and scan it with a smartphone camera using Eli Health’s mobile app. The system delivers results in about 20 minutes, allowing users to access hormone insights much faster than traditional lab testing which often takes several days.
Eli Health plans to price each hormone test at under $10. By keeping costs low, the company encourages frequent monitoring and helps users track hormonal trends over time instead of relying on occasional lab visits. Eli Health reports that internal testing shows the Hormometer achieves more than 90 percent accuracy when compared to standard laboratory methods.
The company has registered the Hormometer with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Class I, low-risk device. However, the product has not received full FDA approval and is intended for general wellness insights rather than medical diagnosis.
Eli Health positions the expanded Hormometer as part of a broader shift toward at-home diagnostics and personalized health tracking. Looking ahead, the company says it plans to refine the platform and explore additional hormone tests in future releases.
